Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a number of incredible projects that have allowed me to grow and establish myself within this competitive world. The experience in these years helped me to define myself professionally.

  1. Nanomaterials synthesis via electrodeposition

  2. Processing and handling of nanomaterials

  3. Hand on experience in Physical Vapor deposition (PVD), sputtering and working experience in a cleanroom environment 

  4. Various characterization techniques including electron microscopy (SEM, TEM/HRTEM, EDS), Optical microscopy, XRD, FT-IR, UV-Vis, Raman, Nanoindentation, Transient Plane Source(TPS), DLS, Plasma cleaning, TGA, DSC, etc.

  5. Six Sigma Green belt certification with efficiency in design of experiments (DOE), root cause analysis and statistical process control using Minitab

  6. Strong foundation on Molecular Dynamics simulation using LAMMPs and other modeling software (COMSOL Multiphysics)

  7. Proficiency in Python for data analysis and visualization

  8. Working experience in LabView

  9. Strong knowledge of materials like glass, ceramics, polymer, metals, nanomaterials, etc.

  10. Surface modification of materials via chemisorption and physisorption especially for stability in aqueous medium

  11. Heat transfer properties of nanofluids

  12. Working experience with microfluidics

  13. Hand on experience in polymer processing, injection molding, extrusion and blow molding

  14. Expertise in design software(AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS ) and experience in 3D printing

October 2020-Current

Product Engineer III at Lam Research

• Acquire and apply basic engineering theories, methods, and research techniques in the investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical problems

• Design and conduct experiments and tests pertaining to the resolution to complex technical problems

• Generate clear and concise reports to justify technical recommendations

• Act as liaison for cross functional projects across organizations

Process Engineer-Nova Thin Film Phrmaceuticals LLC

  • Installation and set up, operation, calibration, and maintenance of Laboratory instruments i.e. tensile testing (Mark-10), precision pump (HIBAR 1 BRV), 3D printing (Formlabs), blistering machines, etc.

  • Design of new blister mold inserts, modify current ones and manufacture them according to product requirements

August 2015- May 2020

Graduate Research Assistant (UNCG)

  • Demonstrated robust performance by optimizing synthesis methods for Nickel and Cobalt nanowire via electrodeposition to ensure maximum yield and process efficiency

  • Characterized synthesized materials using various tools to understand the process property relationship

  • Studied the crystal growth mechanisms of metal nanowires

  • Developed novel nano modified heat transfer fluid to improve heat transfer and energy efficiency of industrial, auto battery coolants, and thermal management

  • Setup of a microfluidic system to demonstrate heat transfer efficacy of nanofluid

  • Developed insights for a new material system via Molecular Dynamics simulation using LAMMPS

  • Collaborative work with interdisciplinary scientists and engineers from my own institution and other universities on technical, engineering and research projects

  • Was responsible for managing research lab (2016-2020) including inventory management, maintaining safety regulations, lab cleaning, ordering, receiving and storing new chemicals and supplies according to the demand

  • Contacting suppliers for faulty orders and resolve related issues

Manager-Production (RFL Plastics Ltd.)

  • Ensure that production activities are carried out in the most effective manner and meet agreed quality, efficiency and delivery standards.

  • Minimize rejection, wastage and defect levels to ensure manufacturing costs are contained and enhance product competitiveness.

  • Ensure all Planning; Production Orders and transfer to final Stock are transacted on a daily basis.

  • Ensure that all raw materials, manufacturing/trading good items and manufacturing processes conform to the company Specifications and quality standards.

  • Make sure that preventive and corrective maintenance plans are carried out consistently to minimize breakdowns and optimize machine availability.

  • Ensure that all machines are operating as per the defined parameter to maximize of output and achieve efficiency.

  • Identify the HR requirements and training needs for his employees to ensure continuity in succession planning and rotation functions.

  • Ensure stocks of Raw Materials and spare parts are ordered in accordance to the max/min agreed upon stock levels.

  • Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls across the production section to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service.

Assistant Manager-Maintenance (Talukder Group of Industries)

  • Initiating, implementing and managing the Injection molding machine maintenance program with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance.

  • Monitoring the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, equipments and recording when necessary.

  • Ensuring that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.

  • Initiating and carrying out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.

  • Responsible for erection of any new IMMs or PVC extruders.

  • Leading a maintenance team for schedule and instant maintenance of PVC extruders and mixers.

  • Keep a link with the SCM people for necessary procurement.

  • Keep contact with foreign and local suppliers for various machine parts and solution.

  • Performing any other duties assigned by superior management.

Operations Executive- Talukder Group of Industries

  • Work with the maintenance team during fixing and regular maintenance of injection molding, Extrusion and Blow molding machines.

  • Keep a log of the maintenance supply to match with output. Assist to plan scheduled maintenance of those machinery.
